Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek is an American actress. She played Tiffany Wilson in 2004's White Chicks, Danielle Brooks on USA Network TV series Covert Affairs, Dr. Amber Volakis for Fox House, and House. Lura Grant appears appearing on HBO Big Love. Francine Hanson is in AMC Mad Men. Anne Dudek, an American actress, is most well-known for her performance as Tiffany Wilson in 2004's comedy film White Chicks. Her television appearances comprise the role of Dr. Amber Volakis, in Fox's House sitcom Danielle Brookson, in USA Network drama Covert Affairs; and Lura Gran in HBO the drama Big Love. Growing up in Massachusetts Dudek attended Northwestern University where she got her first stage role in a stage performance of The Iphigenia Cycle. Following the Broadway show, she moved to New York City and won the Joseph E.Calloway Award. American Theater Magazine named her among the top ten emerging actors to watch. Dudek got roles in both television and film. Matthew Heller was the husband of the talented actor from 2008 to 2016. Dudek was conceived at Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and raised in Newton. At the beginning of her career she was a student at Northwestern University where she performed in various theater productions. Her debut on the stage was also her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain (2000). In the following year she won the Connecticut Critics Circle Award, for her role in The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group in Britain was her first appearance on television. She's been an actor on diverse range of shows, including Desperate Women How I Met Your Mother, Friends, ER, Charmed Bodies Numb3rs, or Six Feet Under. The pilot episode of the show, Lucinda was portrayed by her. Later on the show Law & Order Criminal Intent she was a teacher who has a sex relationship with a child. Dudek landed her first recurring part in House as Amber Volakis. The character was one of the forty doctors Dr. Gregory House considered for regular roles in his team. Amber Volakis' character kept appearing throughout the show, but was finally killed off at the end in House's Heart. House will later see her as a deformed character in the episode of five seasons Saviors. Dudek also appeared on Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson, and also in Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives both of them recurring roles. Dudek was cast in Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks as the sister of the main character. She also has appeared in movies playing the role of cruise-line heir Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks and also played Anthony Hopkins's daughter in The Human Stain.
